### Pomigliano Literature: A Moment of Collective Reflection
A cultural event is not a street party for the enjoyment of participants, it is not a competition for large numbers and it is not an electoral slogan at all. It is rather a moment of collective reflection that arises from the opportunity for a free and open dialogue between participants and authors. When we imagined Pomigliano letteratura, we did so in the spirit of sharing ideas and words to bring to the corners of the city.
Places that sometimes escape due to the distraction of everyday life, and we did it far from spectacularization; because we believe that the beauty of these moments is not made by thousands of distracted eyes that look, but by attentive hearts that think.
### The Second Edition of Pomigliano Literature
This is what Mario Volpe said about the “Pomigliano Letteratura” review, now in its second edition with the aim of bringing the words of the best contemporary pens to the architectural, gathering and cult corners of the city of Pomigliano d'Arco. The importance of gathering and reflection, not only through literature, but also from its connection with those places that go unnoticed although capable of a great emotional breath.
After all, the association “I Colori della Poesia” is not new to initiatives of this kind and after ten years of cultural promotion around Italy and moments of collaboration with important national publishers from which it has accumulated a wealth of experience that it pours into the territory for the benefit of culture.
### Guests and Works Presented
“Pomigliano Letteratura” is just one of the many initiatives involving the association, which in the first edition of the event (held in the historic Palazzo dell’Orologio in Pomigliano as part of the art exhibition Fragilità curated by Rosanna Iossa) presented for the first time in the area the writer Giuseppe Montesano and in succession Antonella Cilento and Titti Marrone. While this year the guests will be Pino Imperatore with his book “I demoni di Pausilypon” (presented by Mario Volpe), Agnese Palumbo with “Fiabe e Favole” (presented by Annamaria Pianese), Massimiliano Virgilio with “Luci sulla città” (presented by Margherita Romano and Roberta D'Ovidio), Antonio Franchini with “Il fuoco che ti porta dentro” and finally Domenico Dara with “Liberata” both presented by Annamaria Pianese.
### The Municipal Patronage
Also this year the event is sponsored by the Municipality of Pomigliano d'Arco and the Department of Culture which has always recognized - as Annamaria Pianese (president of the association) was keen to underline - the cultural depth of the meetings and reviews organized by "I Colori della Poesia".
