On the occasion of the National Day for the Safety of Care and of the Assisted Person, the event “The Healthcare of the Future” will be held on Saturday, September 14 at Radici Resort Mastroberardino in Mirabella Eclano. The initiative, organized by the Casa di Cura Santa Rita of Atripalda and the NefroCenter Group, will focus on the important role of Artificial Intelligence and scientific research in the future of healthcare.
The Santa Rita Nursing Home, a historic health facility in the province of Avellino, was recently acquired by the NefroCenter Group, a national leader in the treatment of chronic metabolic diseases and dialysis. With over 85 facilities throughout Italy, the group, led by entrepreneur Giovanni Lombardi, is positioned as the second most important reality in the field of nephrological and diabetic diseases.
“After the acquisition, we have started a path of technological and scientific innovation, with the aim of further raising the level of specialization of the Santa Rita Clinic”, declared the Health Director, Dr. Massimiliano Fontana. “Furthermore, the NefroCenter Group continues to invest in research, collaborating with the main Italian universities for the development of innovative projects, supported by the Miur and the Mimit.”
Saturday's event will be an opportunity to illustrate the new structure of the clinic and the development prospects focused on the use of Artificial Intelligence in medicine. The future projects of the NefroCenter Group will also be discussed, aimed at improving the quality of care offered, especially for patients suffering from chronic diseases.
The acquisition of the Casa di Cura Santa Rita, with its 139 authorized beds, of which 114 are accredited with the National Health Service, further strengthens the care network of the NefroCenter Group, which aims to expand and improve the offer of services for chronic patients and beyond.
