A 26-year-old from Maddaloni was arrested by the Carabinieri of the radiomobile section of the Maddaloni Company yesterday evening, September 3, for possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing.
The boy was sitting on a bench in Piazza Vittoria, in the center of Maddaloni, waiting for possible "customers" interested in buying drugs. The military personnel, already aware of the young man's illicit activities, decided to carry out a check.

The 26-year-old's nervous attitude prompted the Carabinieri to conduct a personal search, during which they found two cellophane bags containing 12 doses of cocaine, for a total weight of 3,50 grams, and two pieces of hashish weighing 1,20 grams, in his underwear.
During the check, the young man attempted to flee by pushing officers, but was quickly apprehended. After his arrest, he was placed under house arrest pending his trial.
