The Civil Protection of Campania has extended the current warning of weather alert for thunderstorms with Yellow-level hydrogeological criticality across the entire region, for an additional 24 hours, that is, until 14 pm tomorrow, September 4th.
Thunderstorms will still be characterised by forecast uncertainty and may evolve rapidly and be particularly intense and sudden.
Lightning, hail, and strong winds are also expected. Attention should be paid to hydrogeological risks: flooding is one of the main consequences of rain and storm impacts.

Due to gusts of wind, public greenery must be monitored (branches or trees may fall) and the correct holding of structures exposed to stresses must be monitored.
Municipalities are reminded to activate the COC (Municipal Operations Centers), to pay attention to the communications of the Unified Regional Operations Room and to implement all measures aimed at preventing, countering and mitigating the expected phenomena, in line with the respective municipal civil protection plans.
