The Carabinieri have seized a riding school in ascea, in the province of Salerno. The operation involved an area of approximately 15.000 square meters located within the Cilento and Vallo di Diano National Park.
The seizure was carried out by the Carabinieri of the Casal Velino Park unit and the Cilento and Vallo di Diano National Park Department during an environmental surveillance service aimed at preventing and repressing violations of building, landscape and environmental regulations.
The investigations revealed that in the area near the Fiumarella stream several buildings had been constructed, including a paddock of approximately 1.200 mXNUMX with a fence and an obstacle course, all built without any authorization and in violation of the Consolidated Law on Building, the framework law on protected areas and the Code of Cultural Heritage and Landscape.
Those responsible were reported and the entire area designated for the riding school was seized.
