During the white night in honor of the Patron Saint in Marcianise, a 23-year-old, already under house arrest, was arrested for drug dealing.
While the celebrations were in full swing, the Carabinieri of the Operations Section and the Radiomobile Section of Marcianise, engaged in checks to combat drug dealing, surprised the young man in the act of committing an illicit act.
Upon their arrival, the 23-year-old attempted to get rid of the drugs by throwing them from the window some cellophane wrappers, containing approximately 20 grams of cocaine, partially divided into doses, and approximately 76 grams of hashish.

These were promptly recovered by the military. A subsequent house search led to the discovery of a precision scale, material for cutting drugs and 560 euros in cash, presumably the proceeds of drug dealing.
The young man was then arrested and transferred to the prison of Santa Maria Capua Vetere. During the service, 68 people and 36 vehicles were checked, in addition to 8 individuals subjected to restrictive measures.
