There is no good news for Napoli on the Alex Meret front. The goalkeeper, formerly of Spal and Udinese, suffered an injury during the match against Thiago Motta's Juventus, forcing Conte to deploy Elia Caprile between the posts.
Despite the unexpected situation, Caprile managed to keep a clean sheet against the Bianconeri. The instrumental tests to which Meret He was subjected to tests at the Pineta Grande Hospital which unfortunately confirmed a severe diagnosis.
Here is what Napoli declared in the official press release: "Alex Meret underwent instrumental tests at Pineta Grande Hospital, which revealed a grade two strain to the adductor longus muscle of his left thigh.

The injury will keep Meret out of action for around 4-5 weeks, with a possible return expected at the end of October, in time for the big match against Milan.
In the meantime, it will be up to Caprile to defend the Azzurri goal, taking up his colleague's legacy during a crucial period of the season.
