The eighth edition of "Bufala Fest – Not Just Mozzarella" concluded yesterday in Naples, an event that attracted thousands of enthusiasts to the evocative setting of Piazza Municipio. The festival celebrated not only the flavors of the buffalo supply chain, but also art, inclusion, and the value of dietary diversity, becoming a consolidated fixture in the city's calendar of quality events.

“Bufala Fest – explains Antonio Rea, the event's organizational director – confirms itself as a successful reality, capable of combining gastronomic excellence with the promotion of important content for the economic and tourist development of Campania. This year, thanks to the talks organized with the Giardino delle Idee Association and the support of Feampa, we have brought attention to the value of food diversity and food inclusion.”

During the five days of the event, visitors had the opportunity to taste dishes prepared by true “artists of taste”, made with products from the buffalo supply chain, such as milk, dairy products, cheeses, meats and cured meats. “The emotions I experienced were unique – continues Rea – seeing children, young people, adults and elderly people all together, with composure and sobriety, in our village of taste was the most representative image of this edition. We have taken the right direction.”

The mayor of Naples, Gaetano Manfredi, also expressed his enthusiasm for the event: “Bufala Fest is a beautiful event, which brings quality and represents what our city needs. Thousands of tourists and citizens were able to spend different evenings, in the open air, in one of the symbolic places of Naples.”

The success of the Bufala Fest has also obtained the moral patronage of the Senate for the second consecutive year. “This event – stressed Antonio Iannone, secretary of the Senate Presidency Office – is now a point of reference for the promotion of the buffalo supply chain and the agri-food sector. The theme of this edition, focused on food diversity and food inclusion, is particularly relevant for the Government's policies."
