Naples, yet another shocking image: a citizen captured a chilling scene at the exit of the Asse Mediano Aversa – Melito highway: two young people, crammed into the trunk of a Smart, without insurance.
The images, which are making the rounds on the web, show the two boys in an uncomfortable and precarious position, inside a clearly insufficient and dangerous space.
MP Francesco Emilio Borrelli, alerted by the report, expressed his deep concern and indignation.
“We cannot tolerate that the lives of the little ones continue to be put at risk in this way”, said Borrelli, underlining the need for a change of direction in road safety policies.
“It is clear that we are faced with a resurgence of criminal driving behavior, which puts the safety of everyone at risk, especially the most vulnerable.”
The episode brings to mind the tragic accident at the end of August, in which a 8 year old girl he lost his life due to illegal transport by car.
These dramatic events highlight the urgency of intervening firmly and intensifying controls on the territory.
The police are already working to identify the driver of the Smart and clarify the circumstances of the incident. In the meantime, the local community is rallying around the two young people and demanding justice.
