La Guardia di Finanza of Naples has seized over 120.000 school products and stationery items intended for school-age children/teenagers.
15 people have been reported to the Chamber of Commerce for administrative violations while 5 have been reported, under various titles, for trading in counterfeit products and receiving stolen goods.
In particular, over 78.000 items (including pens, pencils, pencil cases and scissors) without marking and adequate information were removed from the market at commercial activities, reporting 4 responsible parties to the Chamber of Commerce and denouncing one.
The activities also involved the municipalities of Barano d'Ischia, Portici, Torre del Greco, Torre Annunziata, Sant'Agnello, Gragnano and Frattamaggiore and allowed the seizure of over 25.000 products, the reporting of 2 people and 6 others to the Chamber of Commerce.

Over 17.000 school and stationery accessories were identified in the municipalities of the Phlegraean area (Giugliano in Campania, Villaricca, Qualiano, Marano) and those of Vesuvian area (Nola, Casalnuovo di Napoli and San Gennaro Vesuviano), without the information note in Italian and without indications on the product's product characteristics.
5 people were reported to the Chamber of Commerce and 2 others were reported. During the checks, the military also seized 382 fake items including leather accessories and watches from well-known brands.
The “Baschi Verdi”, after stopping a car, noticed that the driver was transporting numerous counterfeit leather goods.
