Naples. Last night, the officers of the Vasto-Arenaccia Police Station, during a territorial control service, intervened on Corso Garibaldi in response to a report of theft from a parked vehicle, received by the local Operations Room.
Arriving quickly on the scene, the police officers located an individual inside the reported vehicle. At the sight of the officers, the man tried to flee, but was immediately stopped. During the search, he was found in possession of burglary tools.
From the checks carried out, it emerged that the front deflector of the car had been broken, the ignition system tampered with and the understeer box damaged.
The man, a 28-year-old of Moroccan origin with a criminal record, was arrested for attempted aggravated theft.
