The investigating judge Raffaella Calandrino has validated the arrest of Moussa Sangare, ordering the precautionary custody in prison for the 30-year-old accused of the murder of Sharon Verzeni.

After this morning's interrogation in the Bergamo prison, accepting the request of the prosecutor, the investigating judge also recognized the aggravating circumstances of premeditation and futile motives.

Moussa Sangare, the man accused of Sharon Verzeni's murder, confirmed his previous statements when questioned today by investigating judge Raffaella Mascarino. He reiterated that "there was no motive, and," he added, "I don't know why I did it."

Sangare, according to his lawyer Giacomo May, told the investigating judge that he left home with this "feeling I can't explain" and that it drove him "to want to do harm." He also said that in the days before, he had also been practicing with a statue.

Attorney Maj explained that his client, rather than simply confirming the statements he had already made at the time of his arrest, wanted to retrace what happened "to demonstrate his cooperative attitude."

For about an hour and a half, the duration of the interrogation, excluding the formalities, he spoke to Judge Mascarino about a "mood" or a "feeling" that then pushed him to stab Sharon, only to later say that "he had not left the house with the aim of killing anyone."

He admitted to drug use (though not on the night of the murder) and reconstructed how two days after the crime he realized what he had done and "discarded" the knife. He discarded the other knives in the following days, when he also modified the handlebars of his bicycle. He also said that he supported himself with occasional income from odd jobs in the music industry and that he "never considered running away."

Even today his speeches were described as "rambling", he often interrupted himself asking for questions to be repeated, his story seemed very confused, which should lead to a request for either psychiatric consultation or an expert opinion.
