On April 16, 2021, a 53-year-old worker lost his life in a railway construction site in Viserba, in the province of Rimini.
The man, an employee of a subcontractor, was hit by a moving bulldozer while work was being carried out on the new road system in the area, along the Rimini-Ravenna railway line, managed by RFI - Rete Ferroviaria Italiana.
Fadep, the contractor for the work, decided to hire the worker's son on a permanent contract as compensation.
