A 60-year-old worker, Antonio Bernardo, lost his life yesterday in Orta di Atella, in the province of Caserta, following the overturning of the entrance gate of an industrial warehouse belonging to the company “Le Delizie del Sud Srl”.
The man, married and father of three children, worked for a company in San Felice a Cancello specializing in remediation and environmental protection systems and resided in Sant'Agata de' Goti, in the Benevento area.
It appears he was closing the gate when it collapsed, crushing him.
Following theaccident, the Public Prosecutor's Office of North Naples has opened an investigation and ordered the transfer of the body to the San Giuliano hospital in Giugliano for an autopsy.
The test will serve to establish the causes of death while the Carabinieri investigation will have to ascertain any responsibilities for the accident
