Book vouchers arrive in Ottaviano

On the first day of school in Campania, in Ottaviano all those entitled have already received the book vouchers.

This concerns 1020 beneficiaries, that is, almost all of the applications submitted (only 10 were rejected due to lack of requirements).

Of these, 885 belong to the first income bracket and the remainder to the second, but all will receive the voucher for the purchase of books.

The call was open for over two months and the school office of the Municipality concluded all the procedures during the summer, ensuring that, in conjunction with the start of lessons, families could already purchase the books.

Ottaviano stands out as one of the very few municipalities in Campania able to distribute book vouchers at the beginning of September, for the first time coinciding with the opening of schools, as also confirmed by the Regional Department of Education.

“This is a result that confirms our attention to the world of education, to the growth of students and to the continuous improvement of our schools. For the first time, in Ottaviano, families receive book vouchers on the first day of school.

We will continue to work to optimize processes, in order to provide increasingly efficient services to citizens. We thank the head of department and the entire school office of the Municipality for the excellent work done”, declared Mayor Biagio Simonetti and Councilor for Education Virginia Nappo.
