The Carabinieri are intensifying nightlife controls in the central neighborhoods of Naples, such as Chiaia, Bagnoli, Posillipo, Vomero and Arenella.
The focus is on the presence of weapons among young people, but the results of the operations have revealed crimes of various kinds and involving people of different ages.
The first seizure took place in Chiaia, where a 13-year-old boy was found in possession of a small 11-centimeter knife, with a short blade but sharp enough to cause serious injuries.
In Via Toledo, an eighteen-year-old was stopped with a switchblade with a particular handle, similar to that of a gun.
In the heart of the Spanish Quarters, the Carabinieri of the Centro company found a real gun in Vico Paradiso.

Finally, a 31-year-old Neapolitan was searched by the Carabinieri of the Vomero company, who found in his possession a 16-centimeter dagger.
