Tragedy narrowly avoided today in Pompeii where a 13-year-old boy was stabbed by another minor.
The injury is said to have occurred outside a school on Via Sacra. The 13-year-old was injured in the shoulder and was taken to the hospital, where he is recovering. His life is not in danger.
The Police are examining the position of another boy, a minor, probably a schoolmate of the injured youth. The investigations are coordinated by the Prosecutor's Office at the Juvenile Court of Naples.
The attack in Via Sacra, one hundred meters from the Sanctuary
The area of the attack which is one hundred meters from the Basilica of the Rosary and the police station is full of public and private cameras.
The incident occurred in the Brescia hotel institute. The two teenagers argued probably over a girl and, at the height of the argument, one of the two pulled out a knife and stabbed the other in the back.
The peer attacker was arrested
The injured man is in the hospital with yellow code. The stabber was immediately stopped and is currently in the police station.
Police are reviewing the footage to get a complete picture of what happened.
