This morning at the port of Pozzuoli, the Coast Guard, under the direction of Commander Edoardo Russo, seized fish products during a control operation.
During inspections, officers from the district office discovered that sea bass and sea bream were being sold illegally by two individuals in precarious hygienic and sanitary conditions.
The illegal activity took place in the port area, targeting the numerous people strolling by or embarking and disembarking from the ferries to Procida and Ischia.
At the end of the checks, approximately 10 kilograms of fish products were seized along with all the equipment used, including basins and a scale.
