Everything is ready for the second edition of the "amARTI" award, the annual event organized by the IAV Club that pays tribute to art in all its forms. Located in the picturesque setting of the Naples waterfront, at Via Nazario Sauro 23, the IAV Club will host the "Festa dell'Arte," an unmissable opportunity for artists, actors, sculptors, journalists, and publishers to perform and interact with the public.

Program and Guests

Following the resounding success of the first edition, which attracted more than 1.500 people, the "amARTI" award returns on September 28, 2024, from 17:30 PM to 20:00 PM. The event is conceived and organized by sisters Angela and Lucia Andolfo, founders of the IAV Club (In Arte Vesuvio), together with Artistic Director Salvatore Sannino. Journalist Matilde Andolfo will moderate the event, which will include meetings, discussions, exhibitions, and performances, reaffirming the centrality of art in everyday life.

Presentation of the 2024/2025 Theatre Season

Before the event begins at 17:00 PM, the program for the 2024/2025 theater season, titled "(S)guardo verso il mare," will be presented. Previews include Paolo Caiazzo's show "Boomer," "Dove c'è il mare" with Antonella Morea and Vittorio Cataldi on piano, "Il Grande Artista 2" with Cosimo Alberti, "Perle rare" by and with Fabio Brescia, and a captivating new show by Giovanna Sannino.

Solidarity Project

Alongside the cultural celebration, a solidarity project is being launched in collaboration with the “Il Mondo di Lalla” Association.

This initiative, which will be inaugurated during the art festival, will see the Association as a protagonist in all events organized by the IAV.

Naples and its Role in Art

The central theme will be Naples' role as a producer of art, not just a hotbed of stories of suffering. Naples will be portrayed as a generous mother rather than a stepmother. The discussion will focus on how different forms of artistic expression, from fiction to theater, can contribute to individual growth and become tools for social revitalization.

Artist Awards

This year, the award will be presented to two individuals of undisputed caliber: Gabriella Buontempo, a film producer known for "Inspector Ricciardi," and Claudio Di Palma, an accomplished theater director. The prizes will be presented by the Mayor of Naples, Professor Gaetano Manfredi, and the Deputy Mayor of the Metropolitan City, Giuseppe Cirillo.

Prominent Participations

The event will feature special performances by artists from the 2024/2025 theater season: Paolo Caiazzo, Antonella Morea, Fabio Brescia, Giovanna Sannino, and Cosimo Alberti. Additionally, the Istituto Superiore Polo delle Arti "Caselli - Palizzi" will participate with musical performances and a visual arts exhibition, while the Istituto Comprensivo 61° Sauro Enrico Pascoli will bring the "Neri a metà" choir in a tribute to Pino Daniele, also accompanying students from the "Centro danza Etoile" of Marcianise (CE). Admission to the event is free, offering a special opportunity to meet artists and organizers and preview the new season's program.
