Naples and its Role in Art
The central theme will be Naples' role as a producer of art, not just a hotbed of stories of suffering. Naples will be portrayed as a generous mother rather than a stepmother. The discussion will focus on how different forms of artistic expression, from fiction to theater, can contribute to individual growth and become tools for social revitalization.
Artist Awards
This year, the award will be presented to two individuals of undisputed caliber: Gabriella Buontempo, a film producer known for "Inspector Ricciardi," and Claudio Di Palma, an accomplished theater director. The prizes will be presented by the Mayor of Naples, Professor Gaetano Manfredi, and the Deputy Mayor of the Metropolitan City, Giuseppe Cirillo.
Prominent Participations
The event will feature special performances by artists from the 2024/2025 theater season: Paolo Caiazzo, Antonella Morea, Fabio Brescia, Giovanna Sannino, and Cosimo Alberti. Additionally, the Istituto Superiore Polo delle Arti "Caselli - Palizzi" will participate with musical performances and a visual arts exhibition, while the Istituto Comprensivo 61° Sauro Enrico Pascoli will bring the "Neri a metà" choir in a tribute to Pino Daniele, also accompanying students from the "Centro danza Etoile" of Marcianise (CE). Admission to the event is free, offering a special opportunity to meet artists and organizers and preview the new season's program.
