Arzano. Tense moments erupted this morning in Arzano inside the Olga Hotel, which houses immigrants.
The occupants barricaded themselves inside for several hours to protest the municipality's failure to issue temporary identity cards.
A request that has been forwarded for months. And so this morning, tired of the constant postponements by the municipal offices, they decided to protest in via Benedetto Croce. The Frattamaggiore State Police arrived on site with the manager Nicola Donadio and the local police.
Protest ended thanks to police mediation
And it was thanks to the mediation of the police that the issue was resolved because a patrol car went to the municipal offices to collect the temporary identity cards.
The protest was then called off with the intervention of the state police.
