Violent assault on Afragola, where an attempted rapina led to the arrest of two young people and the reporting of three others. The victim, a 26-year-old, was attacked by a group of boys while he was in his car on Via Saggese, waiting for a friend. The criminals hit him with punches and threatened him with a gun, demanding all his possessions. Despite the violence suffered, the man managed to escape, but, convinced that he was now safe, he went back to get his friend, only to find the attackers on the spot.
In a second attack, the robbers attempted to run over the victim's friend and then hit him on the head with the butt of the gun. The Carabinieri, who intervened after the news was reported to 112, immediately issued a search warrant for the car used by the robbers, a black Fiat Panda. A patrol from the Casoria radiomobile section located the car not far from the site of the attack. Upon seeing the police, the five attackers stopped driving without putting up any resistance.
A search of the car revealed a toy gun, without the red cap, along with items of clothing that matched the descriptions provided by the victims. Those arrested for attempted aggravated robbery and personal injury were a 19-year-old and a 20-year-old, both with no criminal record. Afragola. The two arrested were placed under house arrest, while the other three were reported at liberty.
