Ricomincio dai Libri, a weekend of creativity for children: between music, stories and adventures

Creativity and music workshops, readings aloud, animated stories and much more: a weekend of discoveries for the little ones between drums, podcasts, yoga and Japanese stories. A free and unmissable event to stimulate the imagination and fun of children.

The Tenth Edition of Ricomincio dai Libri

The tenth edition of “Ricomincio dai Libri” promises to be a real festival suitable for all ages, with a very rich program dedicated to children and their families. The event, which will be held from 27 to 29 September 2024 at the State Archives of Naples, offers numerous educational, creative and completely free activities. An unmissable opportunity to let children live unforgettable experiences, stimulating their imagination and their love for books.

A Child-Friendly Weekend

The goal of “Ricomincio dai Libri” has always been to put children at the center of its activities, and this year is no exception. The collaboration with associations and professionals in the sector has given life to a program designed to involve the little ones in a journey through words, music and creativity. “Ricomincio dai Libri – says Miryam Gison, one of the founders of RdL – has the goal of filling a void that has been present for some years.” This year, to celebrate the tenth edition, we have decided to give ample space to this festival for the little ones within Ricomincio dai Libri, with the artistic director Viviana Hutter who collaborated in the creation of the calendar of activities.

Unmissable Events for the Little Ones

During “Ricomincio dai Libri,” children will have the opportunity to participate in a rich program of creative activities, workshops, and readings. On the first day, Friday, September 27, children aged 9 to 13 will be able to participate in the workshop **Growing with words**, a unique experience that will stimulate their imagination through images and photographs curated by the Associazione Poesie Metropolitane. At the same time, children aged 14 to 18 will be able to participate in the literary reading “Questo sera si recita a soggetto – Conflitti,” exploring the complexities of human conflicts.

Activities for all ages

For children aged 2 to 5, there will be several opportunities to enjoy the “Readings aloud”, organized by the Tells Italy Association. And for children aged 4 to 8, maestro Vito Palazzo will lead the workshop “Libello il menestrello – Favole semiserie”, taking participants into a world of fables and imagination. Children aged 14 to 18 will also be able to participate in a creative writing workshop based on the lyrics of Big Mama’s song, while Viviana Hutter will offer an interesting workshop “Writing that educates (to feel good)” aimed at young people aged 14 to 20.

Continuing with the Varied Program

Saturday, September 28 will be enriched by musical activities such as “Born for Music”, which includes two sessions for different age groups. The afternoon also includes the workshop “Inside Out: Emotions in Color”, dedicated to children aged 4 to 7 to explore their emotions in a creative way. The day will end with “Creating a Hero: How to Do It?”, a creative writing workshop for children aged 12 to 18.

The Final Day

Sunday, September 29 will begin with the workshop “Chats, Plants and Yoga,” for children aged 4 and up, followed by “The Magic of Drums,” a musical workshop that will involve children aged 6 and up. The day will also be enriched by a musical reading workshop for children aged 3 to 5. The festival will end with “The Night of Furious Cell Phones,” a workshop where children will explore the world of technology through imaginative stories.
