Francesco Pinto, Annamaria Nocerino and Luciano Allinoro have been convicted for a series of robberies, including that of the Formula 1 driver Charles Leclerc.
On April 18, in Viareggio, Leclerc was robbed of a valuable Richard Mille watch worth 2,5 million euros. The investigation led to the arrest of the three, also accused of an attempted robbery of a Rolex Daytona.
The first instance judge had imposed heavy sentences, but the Court of Appeal of Florence reduced them. Pinto and Nocerino are now under house arrest.
How the robbery took place According to investigators, Pinto and an accomplice, Stefanoni, physically carried out the robbery in Leclerc, while Allinoro and Nocerino supported them. The group followed the victim from Forte dei Marmi to Viareggio, then acted and fled.
Other robberies The gang is also accused of other robberies. The same night as the Leclerc robbery, Pinto allegedly attempted to steal a watch from a young couple in Forte dei Marmi.
In another episode, again according to the prosecution, Pinto and Allinoro robbed an English manager, threatening him with a gun and stealing a luxury watch from him.
