A series of checks have begun throughout the city in order to stem the phenomenon that indiscriminately affects both the center and the wooded outskirts.

Various actions have been planned by the top management of Real Environment in synergy with the administration of Mayor Pasquale Di Lauro and which are seeing the involvement of the municipal company's operators together with the local police officers.

From widespread checks for those who deposit waste at all hours to camera traps that will be distributed in different areas to combat the abandonment of bulky items, waste material and even hazardous waste.

Violators will be fined up to 200 euros and reported to the judicial authorities.

«Collaboration between citizens and institutions is essential to keep Boscoreale clean and safe, and we cannot allow a few irresponsible people to undermine the efforts of the entire community.

For this reason, in agreement with theassessor Trito, and the top management of Ambiente Reale have decided to intensify checks and sanctions, so that the message is clear: respect for the environment is everyone's duty.

Environmental degradation cannot be tolerated, and those who do not respect the rules must be punished. We have deployed all the necessary resources to address this problem, which is not only a question of urban decorum, but also of public health." Pasquale Di Lauro, mayor of Boscoreale, said.

"After the last few months spent pushing for better recycling and discouraging the phenomenon of micro-landfills, we must now use an iron fist. Unfortunately, there are few citizens who have not yet understood that the rules must be respected by everyone."

The chairman of the board of directors of Ambiente Reale Bruno Cammarota said, explaining that the city is experiencing two different phenomena: «At the center there are still those who deposit every day at all hours, ignoring that there is a calendar for recycling.

While in the suburbs we still experience the phenomenon of cellar empties that create discomfort in addition to the higher costs that we have to face for cleaning and waste disposal. For this reason we have devised different actions so as to stem these two phenomena".
