The Carabinieri of the Naples investigative unit, those of Catturandi, follow his tracks and locate him in the municipality of Ascea, province of Salerno. They know that he is at the seaside, that he frequents the beaches of the coast.
They monitor them all, under the umbrella, confused among the bathers. They will recognize him as he dives into the water. He has shaved his hair, wears large sunglasses and a T-shirt. He also keeps her in the water, in an attempt to hide the many tattoos he has imprinted on his body.
It won't be enough. The carabinieri recognize him precisely because of some large stars, tattooed between his chest and shoulder. He doesn't have time to reposition himself on the bed that the soldiers tighten the handcuffs on his wrists.
He is now in the Vallo della Lucania prison, awaiting extradition requested by Austria.
