It is the sixth day of searching for the two missing people in San Felice a Cancello, in the province of Caserta.
Agnese Minieri, 74, and her son Giuseppe Guadagnino, 41, disappeared in the late afternoon of August 27, when a river of mud, caused by a landslide caused by bad weather, swept away the Ape car they were traveling in.
Firefighters have been working tirelessly for days, using excavators and drones with thermal cameras. Search operations are focusing on a containment tank in a former quarry, where they believe there may be clues about the two missing people.
L'Apecar was found shortly after the landslide, but with no trace of the occupants. In the meantime, the other search dogs arrived over the weekend after the first one was injured.
