### The Second Edition of the Gibaldone National Award of Nola: Union between Music and Word

The Gibaldone National Prize in Nola welcomes its second edition with a unique twist: the fusion of music and spoken word. Organized by the Raffaele Mercogliano Foundation with the support of the Campania Region, the Municipality of Nola, and other institutions, the event celebrates courage through a recital/concert conceived by pianist Enza De Stefano. Guests of honor include prestigious names such as Margherita Vicario, baritone Felice Tenneriello, and soprano Anna Corvino.

### Music and Words to Celebrate Courage

The recital/concert “In… canto del cor” will be performed tomorrow, Thursday, September 12 at 21:00 p.m., in the internal courtyard of the Palazzo Comunale in Nola. The show wants to pay homage to courage, especially that fueled by love in its various forms. On stage, Felice Tenneriello and Anna Corvino will perform famous arias from the lyrical repertoire, while Margherita Vicario will guide the audience with her reciting voice. Among the novelties, the world premiere performance of two arias composed for the occasion by Geminiano Mancusi based on texts by Angelo De Stefano.

### A Program Full of Surprises

The event will continue until Monday, September 16, included in the cultural project “SettembrArt” of the Municipality of Nola. The events scheduled include “Mitologia & Psiche” by Andrea La Rovere, “Boomer” by Paolo Caiazzo and Daniele Ciniglio, a concert by M'Barka Ben Taleb & Band, and “L'amico imperfetto” by Rosario Galli.

### The Precious Gibaldone and the Participation

The Award takes its name from the Gibaldone, a historical document linked to the birth of the commedia dell'arte in the Campania region, found by chance by Benedetto Croce. Members and participants can access the events: members of the Foundation participate for free, while non-members are required to make a minimum donation of 18 euros. With this event, Nola celebrates courage in all its forms, combining music, words and history in a one-of-a-kind event.
