A morning of violence unfolded today in Cernusco sul Naviglio, where one man was killed and another seriously injured in a shooting that shook the quiet town. Shortly before 11 a.m., a dramatic clash occurred on Via Nino Besozzi involving two men with ties to Inter Milan ultras and organized crime.
Andrea Beretta, a well-known Nerazzurri ultra leader, has been arrested on charges of killing Antonio Bellocco, also linked to the Inter fans and suspected of being affiliated with the 'Ndrangheta. According to initial reports, Bellocco opened fire on Beretta, who, despite suffering from gunshot wounds, responded by fatally stabbing his attacker. Bellocco was found dead at the scene of the fight, with obvious stab wounds but no evidence of bullet wounds.
Beretta, 49, was transported to San Raffaele Hospital in a yellow code, where he is under guard by law enforcement. His condition is serious, but his life does not appear to be in danger. The investigation is underway. Carabinieri, while the public prosecutor Paolo Sorati, who has long been involved in investigations into Milanese fans and their connections with organised crime, is closely following the case.
