The La Villa project, powered by Giffoni Innovation Hub, was an extraordinary success at the Venice International Film Festival. In collaboration with Le Giornate degli Autori and in partnership with I Wonder Pictures, La Villa hosted a variety of events that attracted approximately 8 attendees, confirming itself as one of the most lively and engaging locations of the event.
A Rich Program of Events
From August 28th to September 7th, the historic space of Lungomare Marconi 56 came alive with over 60 events, including cultural projects, meetings, junkets, cocktail parties and parties. Among the prominent guests, there were stars of the caliber of Kevin Costner, Luke Wilson, Thomas Vinterberg, Nanni Moretti, Francesca Comencini, and many others. The Villa therefore welcomed a variety of talents and personalities from the film and entertainment industry.
What's New and Engaging Formats
One of the most innovative moments of this edition was the Fest of Creators format. This new format saw 11 content creators tell the story of the Festival “in their own way”, through interviews, assaults on the red carpet and reports from the most exclusive parties. In addition, Best Movie proposed interviews with Zerocalcare, while RDS Next broadcast live.
Themed Events and Exclusive Screenings
Among the most notable events, The Substance IWONDERFULL Party, dedicated to the film “The Substance” with Demi Moore and Margaret Qualley. Other significant events include the party for “Taxi Monamour” by Ciro De Caro, the Juventus-branded day with the screening of the short film 'Il moquette verde' and the presentation of 'Fragile', a documentary on the last season by Nicolò Fagioli. Lush Decor and Basement also contributed with the screening of 'Dream Weaver'.
Successes and Collaborations of the Giffoni Innovation Hub
Giffoni Innovation Hub has organized several successful events, including the presentation of the book “Napoli capitale di cinema e fiction” and the short film “A Domani”, made in collaboration with the Municipality of Naples and the Juvenile Penal Institute of Nisida. In addition, panels were organized with the Film Commission Torino Piemonte and the Film Commission Regione Campania, and the presentation of various projects such as “Diari di Volo. Sguardi dal Futuro” by ITA Airways.
Sustainability and Environmental Commitment
Numerous partners supported La Villa in this edition dedicated to sustainability. Gruppo Hera exhibited paintings made with industrial waste, while Echosline, in collaboration with Piantando, created spaces dedicated to beauty and sustainable innovation. Giffoni Hub and Piantando also collected 5.000 kg of waste abandoned in Italy through the Plastic Pull project.

Media coverage was provided by media partners such as AdnKronos, Arte Settima, Best Movie, La Repubblica, Longtake, Mubi and RDS NEXT. The involvement of Iris Di Domenico and Gaia Garavaglia contributed to the production of exclusive content, consolidating the notoriety and success of La Villa. This year's edition of La Villa in Venice highlighted the importance of creativity, sustainability and new forms of storytelling within the film industry, achieving extraordinary success and promising for the future.
