Torre Annunziata. Il Maggiore Gerardo De Siena, già comandante della Compagnia di Nola, da alcuni giorni ha ricevuto l’incarico come Comandante del Nucleo Investigativo del Gruppo di Torre Annunziata. In questa nuova posizione, De Siena si dovrà occupare delle attività di polizia giudiziaria su un vasto territorio che comprende ben 35 comuni della provincia di Napoli, dall’area vesuviana alla penisola sorrentina.
Major De Siena, although very young, has held roles of great responsibility throughout his career. From 2013 to 2016, he commanded the Operational and Radiomobile Nucleus of the Roccella Jonica Company, located in the province of Reggio Calabria. Subsequently, from 2016 to 2020, he assumed command of the Soverato Company, in the province of Catanzaro. From 2020 to 2024, he continued his career as Commander of the Company of Nola (now led by Captain Edgard Pica).
On the occasion of the assignment of his new role, the Major also communicated the changes within the structure, with a particular mention to the prevention activity carried out in schools. Over the last four years, the Investigative Unit has conducted numerous operations to combat organized and predatory crime, as well as irregularities in public administration, covering a large and diversified territory, competent in 15 municipalities in the Nola area.
These are fundamental actions to guarantee legality, which demonstrate the commitment of the Carabinieri in the fight against crime and in promoting public safety. To Major De Siena, the editorial team's best wishes for a fruitful work, in the wake of the important results achieved in the service of the Arma.
