From September 17th to October 23rd, the Trianon Viviani Theatre will host a new edition of the "Esercizi di Fantasia" theatre series, dedicated to children and families, curated by the Teatrini association. This cultural event presents seventeen performances, with a rich program of stories and characters drawn from famous literary works.
A Panorama of Fairy Tales and Stories
The festival draws inspiration from a famous book by Gianni Rodari and offers a wide selection of fairy tales and historical stories, ranging from Italo Calvino's collections to the fables of Aesop, Phaedrus, La Fontaine, and even Basile, Perrault, the Brothers Grimm and Andersen. The program also features the adventures of iconic characters such as Pulcinella and Pinocchio, as well as shows that deal with contemporary issues such as environmental protection.
The Teatrini Initiative
“I Teatrini” is an association dedicated to the production and promotion of theatre for the new generations. For years, this reality has created shows and educational projects for children and young people, with the aim of bringing them closer to theatre and stimulating their creativity and imagination. Luigi Marsano, artistic director of Teatrini, underlines the objective of this initiative: to offer children an opportunity to explore fantastic worlds and different emotions through theatre, in the company of their family.
Program of the Exhibition
The varied program of the festival will begin on September 17 with Arterie Teatro presenting “Marcovaldo – Funghi in città”, based on Italo Calvino. This will be followed by “Rodari smart” on September 18, a tribute to Gianni Rodari, and “Riciclando…ndo” on September 19, which addresses the theme of separate waste collection.
