The documents from the investigation that led to the arrest of 19 AC Milan and Inter ultra leaders reveal contacts between some organized fans and figures in the football world. Specifically, it was revealed that members of the ultras had ties to former Inter Milan player Milan Škriniar, coach Simone Inzaghi, and AC Milan's Davide Calabria. However, as clarified by prosecutor Marcello Viola and national anti-mafia prosecutor Giovanni Melillo during a press conference, "no member or director of the two clubs is under investigation ," as these relationships were defined as a "form of subservience, not complicity."

The investigation also revealed the existence of a non-aggression pact between opposing supporters, aimed at maximizing the illicit profits generated by the ultras' activities. A wiretap from one of the supporters' leaders sums up the attitude well: "I don't care about the team, I don't do things for the banner; if I do it, there has to be a financial return." According to Viola, "the actions of some individuals were merely superficially motivated by a passion for sport, while the real goal was profit."

Luca Lucci: the leader of the Curva Sud and the “thirst for blood”

Among the investigation's protagonists is Luca Lucci, the longtime leader of AC Milan's Curva Sud, already known for his involvement in drug-related and violent cases. In a wiretapped conversation on November 7, 2023, before the Champions League match between AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain, Lucci expressed violent thoughts: "I have a thirst for blood that only God knows ," ironically commenting on the permission granted by the surveillance court to attend the match with his family, his lawyer, and a doctor from the SerD.

Lucci mocked the rehabilitation program he was undergoing, sarcastically referring to the judge's authorization: "They're taking me to the stadium to rehabilitate my brain ." Prosecutors Paolo Storari and Sara Ombra noted in their documents that these words mock the efficiency of the rehabilitation system, demonstrating the Curva leader's disdain for the re-educational process.
