Afragola: found in possession of weapons and ammunition, arrested.
Yesterday, the State Police arrested a 62-year-old from Afragola, with a criminal record, including for specific crimes, for the illegal possession and detention of a clandestine weapon and related ammunition.
The agents of the Afragola Police Station, during a targeted search at the man's home, discovered in a warehouse used by him a precision rifle with a telescope and 9 6,45 caliber cartridges, a compressed air rifle, 2 baseball bats, a telescopic truncheon, 3 25 cm knives, a pair of handcuffs and a knuckle-duster.
The man was unable to provide any explanation regarding the possession of the weaponry which in the meantime have been sent to the scientific section which will have to establish whether they have been used in recent bloody incidents.
