Santa Maria Capua Vetere – A section of a wall collapsed near the monumental complex. According to the page "What I See in the City," which shared an image of the collapse , no injuries were reported, partly because there are no homes in the immediate vicinity and no passersby were present at the time of the collapse.
The cause of the collapse could be linked to water infiltration, but further checks will be conducted by the firefighters in the next few hours.
In the meantime, the area has been cordoned off to allow for the necessary checks and to begin safety work.

We hope that the restorations will be done as soon as possible to preserve our historical heritage.
