Antonio Boccalà, a 33-year-old Neapolitan who works as an on-board electrician, disappeared in Paris. Antonio was supposed to take a flight from Charles de Gaulle airport to Naples, but he never left and has been missing ever since.
His cell phone is turned off and the family can no longer contact him. Worried, the family decided to launch an appeal on social media. His sister Rita wrote in Italian and French:
“This is my brother Antonio Boccalà, 33 years old, black hair, beard, 1,88 m tall. He was supposed to return to Naples on Saturday on a flight from Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris, but he never left and never returned home. His phone is off and we have no news from him. If you know anyone in France, especially in Paris, please help me, he is in a state of confusion.”
The appeal has been shared by many people, including in groups frequented by the large Italian community living in Paris. However, so far there is no news. The family hopes to embrace Antonio again as soon as possible.
The hypotheses are still open: it could be a voluntary departure or a robbery that deprived him of his personal effects, making it impossible for him to get in touch. Antonio works as an electrician on board cruise ships for a well-known international company.
