In Pozzuoli, the finance police of the Provincial Command of Naples arrested a man in flagrante delicto and seized 5,7 kg of marijuana.
In particular, the military of the Frattamaggiore Group, as part of an operation aimed at combating illicit trafficking, stopped a suspicious car, inside which a package containing numerous sealed envelopes with Indian hemp inflorescences was found.
The package, coming from Spain, would have brought in over 60.000 euros if placed on the illicit market.
Also seized were approximately 400 euros in cash, five cell phones, a false identity document and the car used.
The drugs would have brought in 60 thousand euros
The suspect was charged with the crimes of possession and dealing of narcotics. At the end of the operations, the judicial authority ordered the transfer of the person responsible to the prison of Poggioreale.
After the arrest was validated by the GIP of the Court of Naples, the precautionary measure of prison custody was applied.
Investigations are now continuing to trace the suppliers but also the recipients and the links of the arrested drug courier .
