Yesterday evening, around 20:10 PM, a doctor was the victim of a physical and verbal assault in the emergency room of Moscati Hospital in Aversa. She suffered a chest contusion and abrasions to her left arm, and received death threats.
The incident was reported by the association "Nessuno Tocchi Ippocrate." The attack was initiated by a patient from Secondigliano, accompanied by her family, dissatisfied with the waiting time for the results of a blood test necessary for a diagnosis.
Same patient, previously called for further checks in the afternoon, was found to be absent and had shown up approximately 45 minutes late.

Francesco Emilio Borrelli, a member of the Green Left Alliance, to whom the incident was reported, declared: "Enough bloodshed and attacks on doctors. Deferred arrest must be implemented, and we must eliminate the violent perpetrators who believe they can impose their unhealthy habits.
It is essential to have a 24-hour police force in hospitals to prevent any intemperance and allow healthcare workers to work safely and peacefully."
