Benevento.
To strengthen measures to combat tax evasion and promote the principles of economy and efficiency in public administration, the Common di Benevento, led by the mayor Clement Mastella, signed a memorandum of understanding with the provincial director of the Revenue Agency of Benevento, Aniello Napolitano. The agreement, signed at Palazzo Mosti, aims to involve the Municipality in the tax assessment activity, with particular attention to fictitious residences abroad, commercial and professional activities without a regular VAT number, undeclared real estate assets and assets unknown to the Tax Office, which indicate a significant taxpaying capacity.
The Municipality will also be able to report non-commercial entities that carry out profit-making activities, such as non-profit organizations, volunteer organizations and amateur sports associations, and will be involved in identifying entities linked to illegal building, both residential and industrial. The protocol will last three years.
