Anti-Camorra operation against the Casalesi clan: 14 arrests in the province of Caserta. Since the early hours of the morning, the Carabinieri of the Investigative Unit of the Provincial Command of Caserta, under the direction of the District Anti-Mafia Directorate of Naples, have been executing precautionary measures against several people accused of mafia-style criminal association, extortion, arson, possession of weapons and receiving stolen goods.
Among the recipients of the measures is a leading member of the group, who, just released after 24 years in prison, was trying to reorganise a fringe of the clan of the Casalesi.

A total of 14 people were arrested (9 in prison and 5 under house arrest), with the use of over 120 soldiers, an SOS team (Operational Support Teams), a Canine Unit and the Carabinieri Helicopter Unit of Pontecagnano.
