Naples. Moments of tension yesterday evening in via delle Galassue in Secondigliano where a minor was stabbed for reacting to a robbery and a few hours later the deputy Borrelli, who arrived on the scene, was surrounded and insulted by 'paranza' riding scooters.

Another bloody night in Naples. A fifteen-year-old, stabbed by a peer, is fighting for his life. An escalation of violence that shows no sign of abating, involving increasingly younger people.

The usually quiet Viale delle Galassie turned into a battlefield. Eyewitnesses said they heard screams and saw a group of young people fleeing on scooters. The injured man lay bleeding on the ground, while passers-by tried to provide first aid.

"'I've never seen anything like this,' says an elderly resident. 'These kids have no respect for anything or anyone.' His words resonate like a bitter lament, a cry of pain from an entire community."

The injured man's uncle explained: "It's time to say enough. We can't continue to watch this carnage helplessly. We need decisive action from the institutions, but also a commitment from all of us—parents, teachers, and citizens—to build a better future for our young people."

"Violence among young people is a complex problem, deeply rooted in the city's social and economic fabric.

To address it, a multidisciplinary approach is needed, involving schools, families, associations, and institutions."

On the spot arrived the deputy of Alleanza Verdi Sinistra Francesco Emilio Borrelli, who was in Secondigliano for an inspection. Once recognized, the deputy was surrounded and insulted by a 'paranza' of minors on scooters who started carousels on two wheels, a typical attitude of defiance and claiming primacy on the territory in the criminal code.

“In Secondigliano the situation is out of control. Entire areas of the neighborhood are in the hands of baby gang criminals, armed with knives and guns, ready to strike their adversaries even for trivial reasons. The control of the territory is exercised through patrols riding scooters, ready to transform into 'stese' when necessary, and those arriving from outside are immediately identified, isolated and threatened.

What happened to us as soon as we arrived on site to verify the serious episode of stabbing of a minor, yet another, a few hours after the tragedy of Corso Umberto that saw a 15-year-old lose his life hit by a bullet fired by an opposing gang. The truth is that the alert level has been far exceeded as regards violence by juvenile gangs in the city. A

also surprising is the level of habituation to this phenomenon for which, among the comments I collected in the heat of the moment in the neighborhood, it was a 'prank'. I wonder how it is possible to downgrade to a prank the fact that entire groups of minors go out in the evening fully armed.

Faced with this drift, to avoid new tragedies, a strong response from the State is needed using an iron fist, searching and seizing weapons and calling the parents of these children to answer for their educational irresponsibility". This is Borrelli's comment
