The evocative Bus Theater, a double-decker bus transformed into a traveling theater, stops in Naples at the Teatro Area Nord for the "Area Nord in Festival 2024" event. The evenings of Thursday, October 31st and Friday, November 1st at 8:30 pm promise to enchant audiences with the performance "Constellazioni Umane."
A fusion of scenic languages
The show is a visual work divided into multiple sections and represents a site-specific performance combining theater, dance, and object theater. "Human Constellations" takes the audience on a physical and dreamlike journey through the human life cycle from birth to death. Complex and timely themes such as stereotypes, gender violence, sexual identity, roles, and prejudice are explored through an evocative narrative.
A joint project and the support of the Municipality of Naples
"Human Constellations" is the brainchild of Ilaria Cecere, who also directs it, and Alessio Ferrara. Performing on stage alongside Ilaria Cecere are Luis Lobo Piementa, Luigi Russo, and Maria Avolio. This show is a co-production between Bus Theater and Sciara Progetti Teatro and is supported by the City of Naples, which is supporting the initiative. The festival offers a unique opportunity to enjoy unique artistic experiences within the captivating setting of Bus Theater's traveling theater.
