A dramatic accident occurred in Tbilisi, Georgia, where Arina Glazunova, a 24-year-old girl, lost her life after falling into an underpass while recording a video with a friend. That tragic moment was captured by the phone camera with which the girl was filming herself and her partner.
What was supposed to be a carefree evening with friends turned into a tragedy. Arina, smiling and happy, was walking along the sidewalk at night, singing a song by a local band while her friend filmed her. Intent on having fun, the two young women did not notice the imminent danger: an underpass with an access staircase located right in front of them. The critical moment came when Arina, turning the phone towards her friend to film her in turn, lost the perception of the underpass behind her, stumbling and falling disastrously.
The video shows the dramatic moment in which Arina falls backwards, overcoming the small wall of about 30 centimeters that delimits the underpass, and falls head first while her friend screams in despair. The young woman fell on the flight of stairs below, hitting her head violently on the concrete.

According to local media, Arina was immediately rescued and rushed to the hospital, but her injuries were too serious: despite the efforts of the doctors, it was not possible to save her. The cause of death was attributed to severe head injuries and a broken neck.
Russian media reported that Arina worked as a public relations manager for a Moscow company and was in Tbilisi for a short tourist vacation. The accident occurred in the early hours of Friday morning, around 2:30, causing a strong wave of grief and indignation among the city's residents. Many denounced the dangerousness of the wall, too low and without adequate protection to ensure the safety of pedestrians.
To commemorate Arina and remember what happened, a plaque was erected near the underpass. The notice posted in Republic Square reads: “On September 27, at 2:30 a.m., a tragedy occurred at this place.
Arina Glazunova was walking with a friend and was recording a video when she fell over the parapet. Arina died in hospital. The height of the parapet is 30 centimeters, a violation of building regulations. We ask the city to correct this mistake to avoid further tragedies.”
