Naples meets Tbilisi
The theme of this year's calendar is "Naples meets Tbilisi in the sign of the Siren and the Panther", highlighting the cultural ties between the two cities. Massimo Listri's images will offer a visual narrative of the city of Tbilisi, recognized as a symbol of art, culture and dialogue between peoples. Generoso di Meo, president of the association, emphasizes how Tbilisi has been a "melting pot of the most diverse civilizations between East and West" since the 5th century.
Stories and Symbols of Two United Cities
The calendar is not limited to photographs alone; it includes texts and essays that explore the ties between Naples and Tbilisi. It talks about shared traditions such as the passion for football and the art of leavened products, up to common structures such as the funicular, and the 41st parallel that unites them geographically. Furthermore, it highlights the ancient connection in the culture of the language, evidenced by the first chair of Georgian Language and Literature in Europe, established in Naples. Among the innovative projects of this year, the calendar will be distributed to 500 lucky people who request it via email info@dimeoviniadarte.it. The first 100 copies will even be autographed by Massimo Listri and will be reserved for new members of the Di Meo Vini ad Arte Association.
