The Campania Libri Festival, which takes place at the Palazzo Reale in Naples, continues to surprise with a variety of events and meetings also during its third day. Saturday, October 5, it has over fifty events in store, offering visitors a wide range of cultural experiences through book presentations, dialogues and theatrical performances.

Literary Meetings and Presentations

The day begins at 10:30 with six simultaneous events. In the Sala Luna, Sabrina Efionayi presents her book “Padrenostro,” a story of friendship and violence set in the alleys of Naples. In the Sala Almanacchi, the protagonists will be Indira Pineda Daudinot, Massimiliano Amato and Luigi De Magistris who will discuss the interviews included in “Fidel. A dialogue 30 years long” by Gianni Minà. Other highlights include Giulia Sissa’s presentation on “Gender and history” and Matteo Marchesini who explores the stages of life in his “Iniziazioni.”

Events for Kids and International Themes

At 11:00, Eleonora Fornasari awaits the little ones with the story of “The Wishing Jar”, while at midday, attention shifts to international themes with “Towards Frankfurt”, organized in collaboration with the Goethe-Institut of Naples to prepare for the participation of the Campania Region in the prestigious Buchmesse.

Discussions on Contemporaneity and History

In the afternoon, several sessions delve into current and historical topics. At 16:00 p.m., Sami al-Ajrami shares his experiences in his diary from Gaza, while Fabio Nicolucci presents his book on Israel. Clara Usón, on the other hand, will discuss the fine lines between fiction and truth. Other authors will explore themes such as the violence of regimes and fascism, in a context of historical and literary analysis.

Reflections of Culture and Art

The evening continues with special projects such as “Le voci dell’infinito”, inspired by Giacomo Leopardi, and history lessons on key Italian episodes such as fascism. Poetry meetings and discussions on artistic avant-gardes complete the picture of a day as intense as it is varied.

Closing and General Information

The day will end with the screening of “Eduardo mio” by Lina Sastri, scheduled at the Teatro di Corte – Infinito at 22:00. The Campania Libri Festival is entirely funded by the Campania Region and is organized by the Fondazione Campania dei Festival. All events are free, and further details can be found on the festival’s official website.
