The two had been reported for having conducted, over a long period of time, a series of harassment and threats through numerous anonymous threatening calls towards a relative of a young woman from Cervinara.
The latter was allegedly driving the car involved in an accident that killed two young women, one of whom was the niece and cousin of the two defendants, respectively. However, the judge, accepting Fucci's defense, acquitted both women.
