Caserta – A couple originally from Caserta were arrested in Puglia, precisely in San Severo, in the province of Foggia.
The two were stopped by the Carabinieri while they were on board a car in the town center, arousing suspicion due to the high speed at which they were proceeding. After being caught, the military decided to carry out a check on the vehicle.
During the identification, the man and woman appeared visibly nervous. The subsequent search led to the discovery of 15 kilos of hashish, divided into blocks of one hectogram each, hidden in the trunk and in compartments created in the air vents. Both were arrested.
