Luigi De Canio, former Siena coach, paid tribute to current Napoli manager Antonio Conte, recalling his early coaching career and the incredible determination that characterized him even then. During the 2006/2007 season, De Canio chose Conte as his assistant at Siena, a pivotal moment for the former player, who had recently hung up his boots.
"Antonio had recently stopped playing, Ventrone had proposed him to me, and I wanted to take advantage of all his experience as a footballer.", De Canio told the microphones of TGR Campania.
