Tomorrow, Saturday 19 October 2024, at 17:30 pm, the famous Neapolitan photojournalist Eduardo Castaldo will be the guest of honor at the last meeting of the “Pozzuoli Foto Fest – Incontri D'Autore/ Anteprima II edition” event, which will be held at the Magazzini Fotografici in Naples. The meeting, with free admission, will see Castaldo in conversation with the famous photojournalist Luciano Ferrara.

Awarding of the “Maria and Gaetano Colonnese” Prize
During the evening, the prestigious “Maria e Gaetano Colonnese” Award will be given to a photographer who has distinguished himself during his career. Gianni Biccari, the creator of the event, expressed the honor of remembering the memory of these lovely booksellers and their contribution to the world of photographic art. Edgar and Vladimiro Colonnese, sons of the illustrious booksellers, will be present in the room.
Eduardo Castaldo: a career between photography and artivism
Born in Naples in 1977, Eduardo Castaldo began his career in 2006 as an independent photojournalist. After working in southern Italy, he moved to the Middle East, where he documented crucial events such as the Egyptian revolution of 2011, earning several international awards. Today, Castaldo is involved in the world of artivism, creating street art works that support the Palestinian struggle and developing his career as a film director. His work is recognized internationally, with solo exhibitions in cities such as Naples, Cairo and Amsterdam.
