Frattamaggiore was the scene of an attempted car theft that ended with the arrest of a 28-year-old from Giugliano, accused of aggravated theft, damage, injury and resisting a public official. Yesterday evening, an officer from the Milan Police Headquarters, while off duty, noticed three individuals trying to force open the front door of a car parked on Via Vergara.
Wasting no time, he immediately contacted the Frattamaggiore Police Station , which promptly responded to the scene. Upon seeing the police, two of the three men attempted to flee, while the third, to gain his freedom, jumped into another car parked nearby. In a desperate act, he rammed the police car before getting out and fleeing in the direction of Via Arena.
However, the officers managed to chase him and, after a brief but intense struggle, they managed to block him and secure him. During the checks, the police discovered that the car involved in the attempted theft had damage to the front door and tampering with the electrical system. Furthermore, inside the vehicle used by the 28-year-old to attempt to escape, the officers found several burglary tools, further highlighting the criminal nature of the operation.
