Yesterday afternoon, in the heart of Naples, a daring chase took place involving a 23-year-old on a scooter.

The State Police patrol cars, engaged in control operations in the Sanità district and in San Carlo all'Arena, noticed a young man speeding by on his vehicle, without a helmet and with a passenger.
At the sight of the officers, the two on the scooter attempted to flee. The passenger disappeared into the streets of the center, while the driver engaged in a dangerous chase with the police.
In an attempt to lose the police, the young man has invested an officer who tried to block him, falling heavily to the ground.
Having got up, the fugitive continued his run to via Vespucci, where he was finally caught and stopped. The 23-year-old, with several criminal records, was arrested on charges of resisting a public official, assault and damage.

He was also charged with driving without a license (a crime committed several times in the last two years) and with possession of narcotics.
The control operation led to the identification of 132 people, 44 of whom had a criminal record, and to the control of 76 vehicles, 4 of which were subjected to administrative seizure.
